The terms that apply when you book with Xtheory.

These terms apply when you book or attend an appointment with Xtheory at Xtheory Walnut Creek.

What we provide

Xtheory provides DEXA body-composition scanning and an expert review of your measurements. The review explains what your results show. It is educational, and it is not a medical diagnosis, medical advice or treatment.

Nothing we provide replaces care from your physician. If your results raise a clinical question, take it to a doctor. If you have a medical concern, seek medical attention rather than booking a scan.

Booking and payment

  • Appointments are paid in full at the time of booking.
  • Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not handle or store card details.
  • Your appointment is confirmed only once payment has been verified. Reaching a confirmation page is not, on its own, confirmation.
  • Prices shown at the time of booking are the prices that apply. Promotional pricing may change or end at any time, and does not affect bookings already made.

Rescheduling and cancellation

You can reschedule or cancel yourself, using the private link in your confirmation email, up to 24 hours before your appointment start time. Inside that window the self-service options close and you will need to contact us.

Attending your appointment

  • Please arrive a few minutes early. Arriving late may shorten the time available for your review.
  • Wear clothing without metal. Metal can interfere with the scan and may mean we cannot complete it.
  • Do not attend if you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant. Speak with your physician first.
  • We may decline to scan if the screening questions indicate it is not appropriate on the day.

Your information

Our handling of your information is described in the Privacy Policy. The link in your confirmation email grants access to that booking, so keep it to yourself.

Limitations

Changes
